Refron du Mar is located on Paraty´s main beach - Praia do Pontal. If you´re looking for a place to relax and enjoy everything that Paraty has to offer then Hostel & Pousada Refron du Mar is the place to be!

Paraty is an old historical town that was colonised by the Portuguese in 1667, an area originally populated by the Guianas Indians.
The majority of Paraty´s original architecure has been preserved so that whitewashed houses, buildings and, most notably, the churches date back over 250 years. The streets are reknowned for their irregular cobblestones and all this sits on the beautiful Bay of Ilha Grande.
 
Our Pousada - your new beach home in Paraty allows you to luxuriate in unique experiences like having breakfast on the beach, with your feet buried in the sand and listening to the sound of the ocean. We strive to make you feel at home here with good food, clean rooms and various activities to get the most out of Paraty.
All rooms come complete with television, bed sheets, towels and wardrobe. We also have free WiFi.

The boat trips round the bay are a hugely popular activity taking you to various islands and natural aquariums. You can also snorkel, dive, kayak and much more! We prepare barbecues, cook big brasilian meals, hold parties - a few days with us and you´ll be feeling more than happy and comfortable!
